Sutras understand suffering—and how to transform it into music. The D.C.-area punk band thrives on creating driven, melodic songs that forge connections between disparate spirits.. Tristan Welch (guitar/vocals) and Frederick Ashworth (rhythm section) fuse pummeling rhythms with lush, grinding guitars, crafting a sound that is both ferocious and dreamlike.
