Mad Keys doesn’t fit neatly into categories, and he’s not trying to. The St. Louis-bred, DMV-based producer and multi-instrumentalist works across hip-hop, jazz, soul, and experimental sound with equal fluency. A classically trained violinist since age nine, Brandon started making beats with his brother in middle school and never stopped refining his approach.
He released his debut LoveWaves in 2015, followed by Balance in 2020. Tracks like “Big Open Spaces” quietly passed a million streams. A Soulection White Label EP followed. After relocating to the east coast , he shifted focus—building an independent practice around raw documentation, instrumental work, and direct audience engagement. That led to consistent releases, a growing international following, and a recent European tour with Oddisee & Good Compny.
His latest project, Go Where You’re Led, is a seven-track collection built on the principle of letting go—stepping back from overthinking, trusting the process, and following intuition over forcing outcomes.
He’s also worked with Adobe, LEGO, New Balance, Lucid Motors, Roland, PreSonus, Splice, and Samsung—developing campaigns, live activations, and interactive projects that mirror his musical ethos: innovation grounded in authenticity.
