Keegan Del Rio is a Washington D.C.-based artist and mixing enginer who spends his days writing and recording songs and nights mixing FOH at multiple big venues through the city.

“Steel Reserve” is one of those songs that he spends his days on, recently released earlier this summer – which is perfectly timed. It carries a bit of an early 90s indie rock sound in the vein of Modest Mouse, with a lo-fi quality that is part of its effective charm – along with the vocals that give us some early Car Seat Headrest vibes as well. There’s a rocking nature to it, that also delivers a swift and sincere emotional centerpiece.
