“Awake in a Dream” is the culmination of solo work in the wake of collaborative creation with Young Rapids, The El Mansouris & Sloganeers. The Halpine is the moniker under which DMV local Joey Bentley explores songwriting and recordings. The Halpine sound is a genre-bending blend of indie rock, shoegazey r&b and textural rhythms.

The live band consists of collaborations with fellow DMV musicians Fiona Kohrman, Matt Gatwood and Colin Kelly.
