Ghosts Exist is a 4-piece American Indie rock band from Washington DC, USA. Formed in 2022, the band consists of Gabi Schulte (Vocals, Guitar), Brendan Gaughan (Vocals, Guitar), Jasmine Gillison (Bass), and Adam Schilpp (Drums). Their guitar-driven melodies and poignant vocals make for a unique blend of shoe gaze and harmony-laden sonic bops. Many people ask what the name, Ghosts Exist, means. At the surface level, yes, the band makes a statement of belief in something other than our physical plane of being. But at its deepest meaning, ghosts, are more like: memories and regrets, anxieties and hopes, dreams and wishes. They haunt and consume, motivate and drive. That is what lies at the center of the band’s music, with each guitar cry and lyrical vulnerability.
