Originally from NYC and New Jersey, Bindy is an indie rock trio formed by singer-songwriter Francesca Craft, guitarist Gabe Paiano, and drummer Harry Smith.

Before founding the group in 2019, Francesca (chiledhood nickname “Bindy”) had only ever perfomed for her cat, hence the band’s logo. Gabe and Harry met while studying jazz in New York, and the three connected through Francesca’s sister, who attended Laguardia High School with Gabe. Soon after, they began performing together.

Since the group’s conception, Bindy has headlined at Mercury Lounge, Knitting Factory, Arlene’s Grocery, Baby’s All Right, The Broadway, and other notable New York venues. Bindy has also twice toured London, headlining along local acts at the Gorge Tavern, Shackewell Arms, and Windmill Brixton.
