EMPRIS (Emily Priscilla) is a Baltimore based singer/songwriter and guitarist. She started playing guitar at 14 years old and discovered her ability to passionately sing while strumming chords on the guitar. She ended up falling in love with playing electric guitar because of its warm tone that compliments her vocals. Her influences in music come from a variety of alternative/indie rock sounds with a blend of folk, and bands like Young The Giant, Wolf Alice, Tegan and Sara, and Florence + The Machine. She’s always loved singing since she was a little girl but never felt confident in her voice until picking up guitar. Her music journey began with playing at open mic nights in November 2022 and gradually started growing from there, booking local performances since.
