VA/DC – based singer/songwriter Lena Traynham has long been a standout for her electrifying stage presence, wild flying hair and extraordinary vocal range. As she prepares to debut her original music, she’s proving herself as a force to be reckoned with. With blending genres comparing her to artists like Stevie Nicks, Rachael Price and Rett Madison, her long awaited debut project has officially arrived with her first single, “Brick by Brick” — followed by single number two — “Stuck Inside”

Following in the footsteps of her dad, beloved DC area musician Harry Traynham, she began performing with him at age 11 and immediately it was clear what she was meant to do in life. From touring with a popular folk-rock band as vocalist and bassist, lending her talents to several DC area bands, and putting her unique spin on heartfelt acoustic renditions in intimate settings across the US. The time to shine with her own music has finally arrived.

Her debut EP is nearly complete as an indie-pop-twang-rock concoction that will undeniably be the musical blend she’s always been destined to release.
