Morning Silk is an alternative indie rock/pop project based in York City, led by producer and multi-instrumentalist Frank Corr. Known for crafting massive, immersive soundscapes, the project fuses lush synths, heavy guitar textures, and explosive drums into a signature sound that sets it apart in the NYC music scene. Corr first emerged as a producer for artists such as The Drums, Blood Orange, and Yuno before channeling his cinematic instincts into Morning Silk. His 2023 EP Dark City Silence captures the pulse of New York at night—blurring the lines between club euphoria and urban solitude through a mix of electronic atmosphere and gritty guitar work. He is currently releasing an indie rock project called “Have A Nice Life” inspired by the rock projects of his friends in NYC.
