Snug House
Snug House
SnugHouse is Nikhil Dasgupta, Alex Millan, Rosie Borden, Laura Pauline and Sam Kyzivat. In the studio and on stage, the quintet explores its full expanse of influences which includes indie-folk, bucolic acoustic balladeering, frisky soulful pop, and delicately textured indie rock. This eclectic palette is masterfully tied together by a sweet sincerity captured in emotionally direct lyrics, stunning four-part harmonies, and profound interpersonal bonds that shine through onstage and in recordings. SnugHouse tracks fit comfortably alongside songs by Darlingside, The Ghost of Paul Revere, and The Head and the Heart.

The band name is a tip of the hat to the beloved local watering hole, The Snug, conveniently located below Nikhil’s apartment where he hosted countless formative rehearsals. Since forming in the fall of 2017, the quintet has made profound headway in the local scene. To date, SnugHouse has made appearances on Portland’s two biggest televised music programs, and garnered regular radio airplay on all local stations, most notably 98.9 WCLZ. In addition, CLZ has featured SnugHouse on their station stage at Portland’s biggest summer food and culture festival, Old Port Fest. The band has released two EPs: 2017’s self-titled, and 2018’s Like Water, with plans to work toward a full-length album.

Eli Lev
Born in Washington, DC and raised by the world, singer-songwriter Eli Lev is a traveler, community-builder, spiritual seeker, and passionate musician.
For the past two years, Eli has been building an impressive live show catalog up and down the east coast with his band, The Fortunes Found.
Featuring the powerful rhythms of all-star DC drummer Michael Miraglia, the big bass tones of wunderkind Bojan Novevski from Macedonia, and a variety of supporting players from fiddle to mandolin, the band has entertained crowds at The Takoma Park Folk Festival in Maryland, Songbyrd Music Hall in Washington DC, the Rockwood Music Hall in New York, and Uncommon Ground in Chicago.
With tons of energy and sing-along lyrics, their full-folk sound has quickly become one of the most sought after tickets and with an ever-expanding tour calendar, the band is looking to share their live sound with an ever-growing fan base.
Eli Lev will be releasing his brand new album, 'Way out West,' at Pearl Street Warehouse on December 28th, 2018 and performing the songs for the first time with the full band. The new album features a futuristic folk sound with a more introspective lyrical influence.
It is the follow up album to 2017's 'All Roads East,' which was hailed by Paste Magazine as "an impressive collection of songs with lush instrumentation and crooning vocals," that include the break out single ‘Making Space.’
You can hear Eli’s debut album, ‘All Roads East’ and his latest single ‘Chasing Daylight’ on his website: https://www.eli-lev.com
“When I’ve been on the road, and I can’t speak the language, I’ve always been able to play a song and suddenly everyone’s singing and dancing. There’s a connection there, and, in that instant, there is a community,” marvels the Washington, DC-based artist.
