No Fun At All - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
No Fun At All
Swedish punk rock legends, No Fun At All are back and have today announced their new 12-track album, Grit, to be released on April 13th 2018 through Bird Attack Records.

Alongside the record announcement, the band have shared the video for lead single 'Spirit' - Their first new material since 2009.

Having formed in 1991, No Fun At All quickly became one of the torchbearers of European punk rock. Following the release of 1994's No Straight Angels, the band found themselves headlining stages all over the world. Through until 2001, they continued to tour all over the world in support of 1995's Out Of Bounds, 1997's The Big Knockover and 2000's State Of Flow records, before calling it a day on the band.

After a show offer in the Spring of 2004, the band found that enjoyment and love again for playing live that had been lost whilst relentlessly touring throughout the 90s. With rekindled enthusiasm, No Fun At All committed themselves to a light touring schedule over the years between 2004 and 2017, including supporting the 2009 release, Lowrider, that the band self-released through Beat 'em Down Records.

2016 saw a lineup shuffle, with two long-time members of the band deciding to take a step back. Following a band meeting in a Vienna restaurant, they decided that it was the time to step it up once again. They recruited Stefan Bratt, formerly of Atlas Losing Grip, and Fredrik Eriksson, formerly of Twopointeight to fill the empty bassist and guitarist positions.

With fresh enthusiasm, the new line up jumped straight into the rehearsal room to work on the new material for Grit. Alongside a number of shows and festivals throughout the summer and fall of 2017 the band put together the new 12 tracks and hit the studio with Mathias Farm from Millencolin as co-producer in his wonderful Soundlab Studio.

Street Punk from Seattle and Los Angeles featuring members of Success, Shell Corporation, Time Again, and Madcap.
Chill Parents - (Set time: 7:30 PM)
CHILL PARENTS continues the legacy of DIY punk in the nation’s capital, with stripped down, catchy songs blasted at a volume nearly sufficient to overpower the noise of gentrifying condos being constructed around them.

The band is a frequent presence at house shows and clubs throughout the District and has shared the stage with national acts such as Meat Wave, Shellshag, Vacation, and Hiccup, as well as local icons, Max Levine Ensemble and Homosuperior.

Since forming in 2015, one member became a real parent, which has greatly reduced the number of inquiries about the band’s name. Originally hailing from Hawaii, San Francisco, and Baltimore respectively, Kevin, Andy and Jon are no strangers to punk rock, having played in various acts over the years. The three piece formed in Washington, D.C. after meeting at a fundraiser for Girls Rock! DC, an organization committed to making space for girls, non-binary, and trans youth to be creative and rock out.

The band has continued its commitment to supporting social justice causes, often playing shows to raise money for everything from legal defense of protesters, to workers on strike, to filling the coffers of local nonprofit organizations. The band was featured in a one-hour live broadcast on social-justice-themed local radio WFPW 88.1 FM. When not promoting upcoming shows, the band’s political art can be seen pasted on telephone poles and electrical boxes all over the city.

Chill Parents are prolific songwriters, debuting new songs at almost every show. Their recording efforts lag behind their songwriting, with dozens of tracks still left to be released. The band released its first three-song demo Chill Chill Chill online in October 2016. {{DEMOS}}, a seven-track self-released tape, followed in August 2017 while the band was actively recording its third tape, Hail ACAB, released in April 2018.
